We may collect device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, and general location data (country/region level) for security, analytics, and rate-limiting purposes.

User-Generated Content

If you submit reports, comments, or other content through the Service, we store that content along with your user ID and timestamp.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service providers — Firebase (Google) for authentication and database hosting, Anthropic for AI-powered analysis features

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party data sources (GDELT, USGS, ACLED, NewsAPI, and others) to provide real-time intelligence data. These sources have their own privacy policies. We do not share your personal data with these data providers.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to save your dashboard preferences, session data, and authentication state. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Firebase may use cookies for authentication purposes.

  • Delete your account and associated data through the profile page
  • Export your data by contacting us
  • Opt out of push notifications through your browser/device settings

9. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Event data and analytics are retained for up to 48 hours in our live buffer and may be stored in aggregate form for longer periods. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
